The Top 10 LoL caster calls

The Top 10 LoL caster calls

We couldn't write about the best caster calls in esports without taking a look at some of the best from League of Legends! From "Flash! Bear! Slap!" to "Look at the cleanse, look at the moves!" Here are the top 10 League of Legends caster calls.
10. Fnatic's Failed Backdoor
Enrique "xPeke" Cedeño Martínez's backdoor against SK Gaming at IEM Katowice 2013 is by far one of the most famous moments in esports history. But at the 2014 World Championship, Fnatic learned that, sometimes, you just can’t make lightning strike twice.
Facing off against Oh My God in the group stage in an hour-long slog of a game, Fnatic put all their chips into a final rush at their Nexus but came just one auto-attack shy of destroying it.
Just look at casters Jatt, Riv and Joe Miller lose their minds as they pinpoint the exact moment Fnatic’s hearts break.
9. "Woah Faker"
It’s hard to believe there was a time where Lee “Faker” Sanghyeok was like anyone else — an amateur playing in his very first professional game hoping not to make a fool of himself on the OGN stage.
Oh wait, that never happened. Faker was a baller right out of the gate, getting a sick solokill on Ambition right under his turret. The move was so quick and brutal, it took a second for it to register for Erik “Doa” Lonnquist and Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykles, with Monte even suggesting there might be something wrong with Ambition’s computer.
8. MonteCristo’s laugh
Any decent LoL player knows that vision control is one of the most important parts of the game. Considering the fact that the old brush ambush was in Samsung Galaxy’s playbook in 2015, you’d think they’d be pretty on top of clearing and placing their own wards.
However, one such ambush in their spring split match against Najin was sadly foiled because none of them cleared the red ward sitting pretty in the middle of bot lane.
The sheer newbishness and the resulting massacre were perfectly underscored by MonteCristos’ derisive laughter.
7. "And the faithful shall be rewarded!"
Though he hasn’t played for them since early 2011, Sam "Kobe" Hartman-Kenzler is still a CLG loyalist at heart.
Just listen to him when CLG kicked Goliath in the teeth in the 2015 NA LCS Summer Finals, sweeping their bitter rivals to secure a spot at Worlds. It just goes to show that sometimes, a little faith goes a long way.
6. "Flash! Bear! Slap!"
Mateusz "Kikis" Szkudlarek has never been one to shy away from an off-meta pick, and his unconventional choice of Udyr against Gambit Gaming in the 2015 EU LCS Spring Quarterfinals sent Trevor "Quickshot" Henry into an absolute tizzy.
The South African willed the Unicorns of Love player to break out the old Flash-Bear Slap combo and Kikis obliged, getting First Blood on Kristoffer "P1noy" Albao Lund Pedersen and spawning a new meme in the process.
5. "I Do Not Believe/I Cannot Believe"
Even though Leigh "Deman" Smith no longer casts League of Legends, his legacy lives on in his iconic catchphrase.
You see, Deman possessed a very skeptical mind and was incapable of believing a wide number of plays and outcomes ranging from unexpected first bloods to shocking upsets.
Personally, I cannot believe he doesn’t cast this game anymore.
4. "What on Earth is going on!"
Who doesn’t love a sick Pentakill? Julian "Pastrytime" Carr definitely does. Just check him out, losing his mind in this 2015 match between EDward Gaming and LGD.
I mean, who wouldn’t be flabbergasted by Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu’s play?
3. "The biggest comeback that we’ve ever seen in League of Legends"
Here's another play that Deman just couldn’t believe. The English caster was at the top of his game as he and Joe Miller narrated CLG.EU’s amazing upset win against Moscow 5 at DreamHack Summer 2012, where CLG.EU came back from a 24k gold deficit. They won a key teamfight in the Baron Pit to rush M5’s Nexus to secure what Miller calls, “The biggest comeback that we’ve ever seen in League of Legends.”
Seriously, no one else could believe it either.
2. "I never doubted them!"

The faithful were finally rewarded in 2015, and Kobe never lost the faith in 2016. He’s bursting with sheer euphoria as he watches his descendants pull off one of the most exciting upsets in League history, taking down the undefeated RNG at the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational to secure a place in the Grand Final against SKT.
Sure some people might have doubted CLG’s ability to beat the strong LPL roster. But not Kobe.
1. "Look at the cleanse, look at the moves!"
It was Zed vs. Zed in the 2013 OGN Summer finals with Faker taking on KT Yoo "Ryu" Sang-wook.
It was one of those moments that have become a key part in the Unkillable Demon King’s mythos. Already weakened from multiple tower hits and bearing Ryu’s Deathmark, Faker dodged a series of hits, cleansed the Deathmark with Quicksilver Slash and wiped out Ryu with just a sliver of health.
Doa was right, you have to look at the cleanse and look at the moves to understand just why Faker is Faker.
